Pitfield started with a simple idea: breakfast and brunch worth slowing down for, served all day, in a room you’re never rushed out of.

The menu runs wide — a full English, eggs however you like them, pancakes, focaccia, bigger plates come lunch. Whatever lands on your table is cooked when you order it, never sitting under a lamp.

The coffee is brewed in small batches through the morning, and the room is built for staying a while — a second cup, a second read of the paper.

Brewed daily

Filter coffee is brewed fresh each morning in small batches, never left to sit. Espresso is pulled to order, one cup at a time.

Cooked to order

Pancakes off the griddle, bread toasted as it's needed, hollandaise whisked in small batches through the morning. Nothing sits under a heat lamp.

No rush at the table

We don't take bookings and we don't turn tables. Stay as long as the coffee lasts.
